“Take the Limits off God”

There are many things that grieve the Holy Spirit. The Bible talks about disobedient or unwholesome talk. However, today I want to talk about putting limits on God. You mite say to yourself “How do I put limits on God”; hold that thought!

I had the most interesting experience last night. I have been attending this class at my church that teaches you how to understand the voice of the Lord. All children of God have the ability to hear from God. The only difference is they are those who can hear God’s voice because they know it’s their right as children of God. Those who cannot hear because they have not “Yet” understand their rights in the Kingdom of God.

The prophetic class has truly helped me to recognize God’s voice. However, last night during the class I felt very uncomfortable because the teachers wanted to do something different. They wanted to separate people according to their spiritual gifts and abilities. During the meeting, I started feeling very uncomfortable and didn’t want to participate but conformed.

When I got home my spirit was trouble and I asked the Lord what happen. I heard the voice of the Lord said to me “Now you know how it feels like to be limited”.

When they begin to divide people I remember feeling boxed-in and limited. I know what abilities and gifts that God has blessed me with but they wanted me to go into one group. Whereas before the division, I was free but now it felt restrained.

God said to me “This is what it feels like when people put limitations me” and He said to let the people know “Take the limit off”. As God told me last to take the limit off of Him; I’m telling you now to take the limit off of God and you will see what God will do with no limitation.
