“DIVISION”

I have found the greatest weapon of the enemy, “Division”. This goes with the phrase that says, “United we stand & Divided we fall”. Division is the rust that eats away families, relationship, governments, neighbors, friends, church... etc. Division does not discriminate or have understanding, it just destroys. Whatever it comes in contact with or whoever that’s willing to let it in. When division is present, nothing can be accomplished. Spotting division is easy because it always comes with Mr. Confusion, envy, self-seeking, resentment, unforgiveness, bitterness, jealousy, selfishness… etc and these are the character traits of the devil. When we fail to deal with wounds from our soul, theses devilish characteristics comes out and everything becomes unproductive. James 4:1 talks about the roots of division. He said, “Where do fights and quarrels among you come from? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that battle within you? These worldly desires existed in us when we came to God and they are fighting within us, trying to get the best of us but “No weapon formed against us will prosper”Isa54:17. We have been set free by the blood of Jesus Christ and because we are free we can put these worldly desires that set off “Fights and quarrels” among us to death. Where there is division there’s a drought for love but where God is, there’s love in abundance. This love of God only expresses it self with unity not hate and division. Yes, we do have disagreements because we are all individual beings but we can also choose to agree with each other. The only time we can’t come to an agreement is because self desires are at work but when love is present our desires becomes to please God whom along gets the glory. We make fire whenever we come together; let’s choose to make good fire that benefits the Kingdom of God. You might say “Let me go and create my own”. It’s possible to create your own church, your own community, your own government instead of working together to help make better what God has already established but it would be your own not God and whatever you creates, you have to sustain because God will not bless what He did not create. Some might say “Well, God sent me”, that’s also possible to but the evidence of being “Sent out by God” must be visible to all. Your released must come from an authoritative overseer in the Kingdom of God and it must be traceable. God never sent you out without submission; even Jesus couldn't start his ministry unless he first submits to higher authority Luk2:51. God’s system is love, submission, and unity. Gods’ way is “Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ”Eph5:21. We might have disagreements but we can still move forward in the love of God because of Jesus Christ. Let us put aside all self desires and unites ourselves for the work of God. Remember promotion comes from God and nothing earls.
